The Jedi's Fate
A large flying predatory beast, the Felucian Raptor looks similar to a large pterosaur, with smooth skin-like wings. However, the Felucian Raptor has translucent skin and organs that make it very difficult to see under any lighting conditions and against any background. Though somewhat fragile, they possess fearsome claws and an alligator-like mouth lined with dozens of sharp needle-like teeth. They soar high into the sky in groups of 6 to 8, looking for prey with their sharp eyes. Upon locating a potential target, the Raptor dives, leading with its claws. The Felucian Raptor is an ambush predator that makes up for its frail frame by attacking silently, grasping its target with its claws, and immediately taking off – a true hit-and-run attack. Upon capturing its struggling prey, the Raptor will then fly away to find a quiet place to feed on its new meal, usually on the top of one of Felucia’s taller mushroom trees where they make their nests. While the Raptor’s weapons are fearsome, it is not a very robust animal. They avoid direct confrontation and will retreat immediately if damaged physically.

Combat Tactics: Felucian Raptors are ambush predators. They will use their Stealth to swoop in undetected and attempt to use the Ensnare quality of its claws to capture its prey, flying off with the unfortunate target. If the attack generates enough advantage, it will also apply Concussive 2 to its claw attack after a move. Once it has returned to its nest with its meal, it will attack with its mouth to devour its victim. Felucian Raptors will retreat immediately if their wounds exceed 4.
